====== Patricia Phelps ====== ===== The Rest of Their Life ===== ==== Phoenix Rising ==== Heyho Kribbers! Jones Carnation here with another episode of KTV Kribs. We're in space again, as part of our "homes of the time travellers" series and this ship is ON FIRE! That's right space-fans, this week we're aboard the Phoenix, Trisha Phelps' custom made ship and home! This is probably the most striking thing we've seen on this show - we love the styling on the outside. It's sleek, it looks like it's ready to leap into action, and that red and gold colour scheme is HOT HOT HOT! Seems like it would be hard to miss right? WRONG! This shiny bird has a legit stealth mode - it can turn pretty much invisible at the drop of a feather. We're sure this is only used for totally legitimate purposes, WINK! Alright, enough about the outside - the inside is a tinkerer's paradise - the cybernetics labs in here are second to none, and covered wall-to-wall in Trisha's latest projects and research - there's some fun stuff here, and we're sure that Trisha's next paper is going to be as revolutionary as her previous ones. For the amazing outside, and the sheer amount of amazing things we saw being made on the inside, this ship definitely gets the coveted Kribs Horn. **//BWAAAAAAM BWAA BWAA BWAAAAAAAM//** ==== Intelligence Report ==== Report on involvement of non-Eunomian citizens in Eunomian situation by Kaia Sharpe, chapter 3: The Prometheans. Patricia "Trisha" Phelps is a Selasi citizen and resident, and a well known cybernetic researcher. To be clear, this report references the Trisha Phelps who was a time traveller aboard the Prometheus, not her often collaborator Patricia Phelps who was always been resident on this timeline. While Trisha does not appear to have any political aspirations herself, she is a persistent quiet pro-Eunomian voice on Selas. Her influence as a Promethean cannot be overstated - but despite some misrepresentation of her opinions by Reunificationist groups, she seems to be more of a voice for peace and cooperation than actual reunification. Her attempts at reform of the Selasi system to return to a true meritocracy are not the subject of this report, but the author notes that these are conducted in a similar way - with gentle pushes rather than anything likely to cause instability. Threat level: Least Concern. ===== What Might Have Been, and Therefore Is ===== ==== About the Authors ==== Trisha Phelps studied cybernetic engineering at Selasi National University, though her course was cit short by the outbreak of war in the Seven Systems. While she did not complete her studies, her practical experience during the resulting war and her involvement in the Prometheus mission led to her being awarded and honorary Masters on her return to Selas. Dr Patricia Phelps studied cybernetic engineering at Selasi National University, completing her Batchelors with a first class degree, and continuing on to do a Masters course in biomechanical augmentation. From there, she obtained her doctorate with a project on neural interfaces for control of tools without biological analogue, and had published several highly regarded papers in this field since. This paper is their fifth collaboration, and focuses on the possibilities and risks of tighter integration between natural minds and the "artificial" minds now being created on Kedalion.
