An idealistic, optimistic hacker, Arachne “Spider” Metaxas wants to make the world a better place. No. They want to make the galaxy a better place. Never seen without Cadmus by their side, the two of them make their home on the Phaethon’s Dream, a custom spaceship Spider never stops bragging about having designed. They never stop bragging about Weaver, either, their custom Opti.

Some might recognise their surname, knowing their older sister Galantis Metaxas to have been one of the Model Galactic Syndicate aboard the Ananke when it was destroyed. Not that Arachne talks about her much; it’s one of the few topics they won’t talk a stranger’s ear off about. Otherwise, though, they’re perky and inquisitive: only too happy to talk about almost anything without almost anyone, as long as Cadmus is by their side.
