Private Bio:
A mid-level researcher from a prominent Selasi research institution, Leslie prefers going out into the field and getting their hands dirty over staying cooped up in a laboratory. They enjoy seeking knowledge for the sake of it, and can be a bit reckless at times in pursuit of this goal. Leslie has no qualms with harming others if it furthers their pursuit of their goals, but will not do so just for the sake of it (ie. Chaotic Neutral). 1 part Indiana Jones (from the series of the same name) + 1 part Professor Birch (from third-generation Pokémon) + 2 parts Greed (from Fullmetal Alchemist).

Leslie is a mid-level researcher from a prominent Selasi research institution. They have a fairly well-established reputation for quality publications on a somewhat wide range of topics.

Private Bio:
Born into Achelia's lower classes, Kyra was certain that most of her life would be wasted in the planet's slums and it was, for over 20 years; until Eunomia and Kedalion turned on Achelia, and she was conscripted into the Achelian army as a pilot. The war was hell brought to life, and Kyra did things she wasn't proud of, but without it she would never have discovered her talent behind the wheel of an FKO-2 spacejet. Sadly, her promising career came to an end when evasive manoeuvres in battle caused her to collide with a friendly craft, damaging her right arm beyond repair, and bringing her name into disrepute amongst the few officers who knew of the incident.

Public Bio:
Kyra is a fairly well-known pilot who flew for the Achelian military towards the end of the war. She doesn't like to talk about her time in active combat, and especially not the strange scars that she picked up on her right arm.

• (-) Recognisable Face (People know what she looks like across Kybele, being a public figure; and her fairly striking high cheekbones, distinctive cybernetic eyes and serious mouth mean she's unlikely to be mistaken for anyone else.)

• (+) Tough (Roja is as frail as most older people, but she's also damn resilient, and her pain tolerance is high. She's willing to grit her teeth and just endure what others wouldn't.)

Private Bio:
Roja is a private, reserved and severe elderly woman with big political ambitions. She is an opportunist, seeing the Ananke disaster as an opening for a power-grab, but ultimately values her system's needs as much as she does her own social position. Her logic is that, by crippling or destroying her competition, she can effectively impose her own order onto the world. Having grown up in an environment which actively encouraged murder and deceit, seeing friends and allies die, she decided to take matters into her own hands and become an active political player herself. Others in her clan often see her as easily disposable because of her age, but she consistently proves just as ruthless as they are.

Public Bio:
While Roja [ro-ha] was little more than a socialite and mediocre politician in her younger years, she has come into her own since she founded her own micro-state. She is now the matriarch of an up-and-coming clan in the Kybelian system, Ruby Amaranthus, and is taking her ambitions one step further by seeking allies in other systems as well.
